This place is the real deal. A family-run joint, offering dine in or take out Peruvian and Argentinian foods. The food is fresh and authentic. A hidden gem in an area that is waterfront and has lots of seafood offerings. Highly recommend the beef empanadas. The chimmichurri is excellent. Great spice on the chicken, and you can get white or dark meat, both are good.

Extremely yummy chicken! Reasonable prices and a great choice of sides. If you're not familiar with yucca, you must try. And don't forget to ask for a couple of extra dipping sauces! Very nice service and good hot food. Take out only during Covid.

So delicious. Tried the peruvian chicken white meat so moist and delicious. Really great prices.came with 2 sides. Lots of choices and they also have Mexican food. Very fresh and the smell is amazing. Give them a try. You will love it.

Tacos, Tacos, Tacos! Some of the best tacos you'll have anywhere. Make sure you stop and check out MMM Que Rico. Their food is excellent and you'll enjoy everything on the menu.

Excellent chicken lunch. Green sauce on the side was very unique and tangy. Empanadas were also very tasty. Everyone had masks and spacing was excellent.

Empanadas are excellent here. Their Peruvian chicken is the real thing. Very delicious. Owners are very nice too! Take pride in their cooking.

This place is fantastic! The only thing better than the food is the service. The owner and his wife greeted us as we came in and were around several times during our stay. They are obviously very proud of their restaurant and they should be. Loved the place.

Outstanding, delicious food! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. We have been several times and had the burritos and empanadas. Both are well-made, well-flavored, and very tasty. The beef empanada comes with a side of chimichurri sauce - delicious (although I could taste garlic for the next day)! The tomatillo sauce is also tasty. We also had the flan and plantains. Both are great. This place is now on my rotation to dine one a week!

I went last night, been wanting to try, wonderful people, food was awesome. I had steak and hubby sandwich, he said best he had had in a long time, if you haven't tried plantains, please try. They are awesome. Going back for chicken tonight.

The food was great & staff very helpful! We tried the beef tacos and both desserts - flan & bread pudding - both were great but the bread pudding was my favorite!!! Have to go back and try the chicken!!!

The empanadas are AWESOME! If you haven't stopped here, you need too ASAP! I recommend getting the garlic sauce and mild green sauce to dip the empanadas in. The food is delicious and the owners are great!

I've been coming to Calabash for seafood my whole life. Now I'll be coming for the world's BEST street tacos and plantains. We had the beef and pork, where blown away, and ordered three more and four to go. Breakaway from that famous seafood and visit this remarkable restaurant. It's amazing.

What a delicious hidden(?) Gem in Calabash. From the outside it doesn't look like much and to an out of towner you might not be too excited to step foot inside this place, but please do! There's a reason this place is so highly rated. They serve up the best Peruvian chicken I've ever had and their green sauce is amazing!!!! This is our go-to pick up meal. So good!!!

My husband and I came to Ocean Isle for our vacation two years ago and tried MMM Que Rico for the first time. We loved it and didn't stop talking about it until we came back to Calabash this year. We went there twice both trips and will be back in the future. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the people are super friendly. The chicken is moist and flavorful, and the empanadas are great!

We visit almost every day because of the authentic food and hospitality. They have the best empanadas! Can't go wrong with the food and the cost.
